Colts lose Freeney for two to three weeks
Tuesday, September 29, 2009Indianapolis Colts' defensive end Dwight Freeney is expected to miss the next two to three weeks with a quadriceps strain.
Freeney has been known as a fast healer, but the injury would cause him to miss games against the Titans and Seahawks.
Freeney was injured in Sunday night's game against Arizona when offensive tackle Levi Brown grabbed his facemask. Freeney then heard a pop in his quadriceps.
Freeney has eight tackles and one forced fumble on the season.
