With the draft of Tim Tebow in the first round, The Denver Broncos have a quarterback face-off between four players. In the first round of the NFL Draft a few weeks ago, The Denver Broncos traded up to pick quarterback Tim Tebow out of the University of Florida. A few weeks earlier, the Broncos traded with the Cleveland Browns to acquire quarterback Brady Quinn. Quinn has been battling for a starting role since he entered the NFL a couple years ago. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns who had him play back-up to Derek Anderson. Quinn is in hope of starting in Denver.

The Broncos also have quarterback Kyle Orton who started for them last season. Orton was a contributor to the team and led them through a good season. On the NFL Network, Rod Woodson stated that “Denver brought Brady there for a reason.” Woodson believed that Quinn has potential and that he could be the starts for the Broncos this season.

On the other hand, Tim Tebow was drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft. Warren Sapp stated that he believes that Denver moved up to get Tebow so that he could start. Sapp stated that “Denver isn’t comfortable with Orton.” Sapp believes that Tebow has the complete package for Denver and that he brings “maturity and development” to the Broncos organization.

The NFL is full of surprises and any of these players could be the starter come August. We will have to wait and see what the Broncos organization will do come the start of the season.
